Sally (she/her) is a retired UU parish minister. She has served on the Board of the UU Justice Ministry of NC since January 2018 and as Board president since July 2021. Her passions are religious education, antiracism, and healthy organizations. She currently lives in Morehead City, residing on indigenous Lumbee and Neusiok land.
Rev. Dr. Gaye Williams Morris

Rev. Dr. Gaye Williams Morris (she/her) is the Affiliated Community Minister for Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church, Oak Ridge TN, and an online adjunct instructor in Communication for Augusta University, Augusta, GA. She lives in Manteo, NC, residing on Algonquian and Iroquoian Indigenous Lands, with Rev. David Morris, their child Oliver, and three crazy hound dogs.
Rev. Claudia Jimenez

Rev. Claudia (she/her) is a credentialed religious educator and Minister of Faith Development with our congregation in Asheville. Previously she served as Religious Education Director in Vero Beach, FL for 17 years and also served on the school board. Claudia and husband Steve are proud parents of two young adult daughters. She enjoys Latin dancing, cooking, reading and calls with family. She lives in Asheville, NC on indigenous Cherokee land.
Rev. Amy Brooks

Rev. Amy Brooks Paradise (she/her) is the North Carolina Organizer for GreenFaith a nonprofit that inspires, educates, organizes, and mobilizes people of diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds globally for environmental action. Amy served for many years with Charlotte’s Regional AIDS Interfaith Network and more recently as the minister of the UU Fellowship of Lake Norman. She lives in Huntersville, NC on indigenous Catawba land.
Ann Zimmerman
Board Member
Ann (she/her) lives in Winston-Salem on indigenous Tutelo land and is a member of the Unitarian Fellowship of Winston-Salem. She currently serves as Chair of the Fellowship’s Social Action Council and Multicultural Team. Originally from New Orleans, Ann enjoys music with a good beat and plays several instruments.
Rev. Patty Hanneman

Rev. Patty Hanneman (she/her) has served the Unitarian Universalist faith as campus minister, parish minister, and is now in private practice as a spiritual director. She lives in Durham, North Carolina - home to the Sissipahaw, Eno, Shakori, Saponi, and Lumbee people - with her partner, Karen Hill. She especially loves justice movements that include lots of celebrating and dancing.
Eileen McCully
Board Member
Eileen McCully (she/her) has been a UU since 2000. She served in leadership roles at her former congregation in Cleveland, OH, and on the board of UU Justice Ohio. She advocates for transformation of the criminal legal system and looks forward to the day when incarceration is rare and restorative. Her background is in Clinical Psychology. She is the mother of two fine sons and lives in Winston-Salem with her husband on indigenous Tutelo land.

- Has direct experience leading organizing and strategy work, anti-racism work, fundraising, organizational development or storytelling.
- Is a UU lay person residing in North Carolina
