Rev. Lisa Garcia-Sampson
Executive Director
Since 2020, Rev. Lisa Garcia-Sampson (she/her) has served as the Executive Director of the Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry of North Carolina. She also serves as the co-convener of Blueprint North Carolina’s state-wide Faith Table and is particularly focused on the work of movement chaplaincy and community safety. Some of her volunteer roles in Unitarian Universalism include serving on the UU Funding Program’s Fund for a Just Society Panel, and on the Board of Directors for the Church of the Larger Fellowship.
Rev. Lisa’s first and always spiritual home is the First Unitarian Church of Providence (Rhode Island), where she became a UU in 2012 and was ordained in 2020. She graduated from Boston University’s School of Theology in 2018 and served as the Ministerial Intern for First Church Boston in 2019. Currently, she is proud to be an Affiliated Community Minister for the Community Church of Chapel Hill UU.
She lives in Durham, residing on Lumbee, Shakori and Occaneechi indigenous land.

Kaleb Graves
Congregational Mobilizer
Kaleb (he/they) is a North Carolina native who is passionate about local, national, and international justice. They graduated from Duke Divinity School in 2023, and he is currently working towards an MA in Psychology from Fayetteville State University. When he isn't working Kaleb enjoys hiking Grandfather Mountain, swimming in the Haw River, and enjoying the other natural wonders of NC.
Kaleb has been married to their partner Hanna for 5 years, and they have four cats together."
Kaleb resides on Lumbee and Saponi indigenous land.

Susan DeMinico
Bookkeeper
Susan's career started in the for profit education world in accounting and strategic management; however, she wanted a career that allowed her to use her MBA to create positive social change. She's since worked for non-profit organizations trying to solve a variety of food access and equity issues; the next step, of course, is to work as a church administrator for a UU church outside of Boston.
She has a B.A. from Boston University and a MBA from Temple University (Go Owsl!). In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading too many books at one time and trying to solve the NYTimes Crossword puzzles without hints. She lives with her wonderful husband, 3 delightful children and 1 very pampered rescue dog.
